Bootsy Collins Shares Health Update

Last week, we reported on funk legend Bootsy Collins being forced to cancel his upcoming tour dates due to a medical emergency. Collins has now had surgery to remove a tumor that was in his ear and took to Facebook to update his fans.
“Ahh, Funkateers! We made it out of surgery by the Grace of the “One,'” he wrote. “Now I gotta get my hearing back in my right ear. The tumor was attached to my Ear Drum, which has affected my equilibrium as well. Keep Holdin’ me up Funkateers! (SHARE THE LOVE VIBES & PRAYERS! Let their P-Moe-Funk!)”
Besides the good news, Collins also shared that he will be working with guitarist Buckethead on a new album as soon as he is back to normal. We’re continuing to wish Bootsy a speedy recovery!
