Kung Fu: Sfvendago
Kung Fu are rounding out 2017 with Ninja Cuts, a collection of singles that will be released through the end of the year. “Sfvendgao” is the first single in the series and a song that they say “captures the essence of Kung Fu; live & up close.”
That essence of course includes the fresh bass lines by Chris DeAngelis. His rock solid playing propels the band along with drummer extraordinaire Adrian Tramontano to create an undeniable groove. Along with all his support work, DeAngelis takes a thoughtful solo starting at the 6:06 mark, eventually trading with his rhythm section partner.
In his time with No Treble, Kevin has met hundreds of amazing bassists and interviewed icons like Jack Casady, Victor Wooten, Les Claypool, Marcus Miller, and more. He's a gigging bassist performing jazz in Northern Virginia and bluegrass with The Plate Scrapers up and down the East Coast. Kevin appreciates all genres of music, from R&B to metal and everything in between. Connect with Kevin on Facebook and check his performance schedule on his website.
