KISS Announce Farewell Tour

Love them or hate them, KISS has been rocking and inspiring people for over four decades. Now it looks as though they’ll be throwing in the towel after announcing a farewell tour called “One Last Kiss: End Of The Road World Tour.” The band made the announcement on the finale of America’s Got Talent after performing their iconic hit “Detroit Rock City.” They followed that up with an official statement.
“All that we have built and all that we have conquered over the past four decades could never have happened without the millions of people worldwide who’ve filled clubs, arenas, and stadiums over those years,” they wrote. “This will be the ultimate celebration for those who’ve seen us and a last chance for those who haven’t. KISS Army, we’re saying goodbye on our final tour with our biggest show yet and we’ll go out the same way we came in… unapologetic and unstoppable.”
The tour is slated to begin next year, but fans will have plenty of time to rock with KISS one more time. In an interview with Sweden’s Expressen newspaper, bassist Gene Simmons said the trek will span all the continents over three years. Dates and details have yet to be announced – stay tuned as we learn more.
