Phil Jones Bass Announces C2 Bass Cabinet
Phil Jones Bass has expanded its line of cabinets with the C2. The compact “shoebox-size” cab is rated at 200 watts and is fitted with two of the company’s smallest speakers.
“It houses 2 of the most advanced loudspeaker units in the world; “Chrome-Dome” technology, exclusively developed by PJB and designed from the ground up as a bass instrument transducer,” the company writes. “Amazingly, each speaker is only 5 inches yet are engineered to handle the full spectrum and sometimes punishing dynamic range of a bass guitar.”
The C2 takes up just 0.87 cubic feet of space and weighs 16 pounds. PJB describes its sound as “dynamic, powerful, and clear [with] lightning-fast transient ability.” It comes in black and red colors and ships with a slip-on cover.
The Phil Jones Bass C2 will be available soon with a street price of $349.99.
