Steve Bailey and Victor Wooten Host Prince’s Bassists For Free Webinar

Besides being an outstanding player himself, Prince always kept killer bass players in his bands. Now, five of them will be discussing what it was like to work with the Purple One as part of Steve Bailey and Victor Wooten’s ongoing bass webinars.
The Bass Extremes duo will be joined by BrownMark, Rhonda Smith, Andrew Gouche, Ida Neilsen, and Paul Peterson for a roundtable they’re calling “Prince-Shed.”
“Prince, like Miles [Davis], had the uncanny intuitive ability to choose Bassists who are supportive, creative, and Future Leaders,” the description states. “Here is a discussion about them, Prince, and Music! Look out for SURPRISE guests as well!”
The webinar will be held Thursday, June 18th at 1pm Eastern. It’s free and open to the public. The weekly series is brought to you by the Berklee Bass Department and TheBassVault.com. While it is free to join, you have to register ahead of time via the Berklee Campus Zoom page.
