Ryan Madora Publishes “Beginner Improvisation For Bass Players, Vol. II”
If you’re trying to level up your playing by getting into improvisation, Ryan Madora has you covered. The bassist, educator, and No Treble contributor has just released Beginner Improvisation For Bass Players, Vol. II, a new eBook that continues the series she began last year.
Madora guides you through a series of exercises that help you break away from simple root notes. ”Each chapter focuses on a chord progression that you’re likely to find in popular music,” she writes. “It demonstrates how to use arpeggios, scales, and register choices to navigate the changes and apply basic theory knowledge. The exercises can be put to use whether you’re jamming, composing parts, or analyzing musical choices on a recording.“
Hear all about it from Madora herself in this video lesson:
Beginner Improvisation For Bass Players, Vol. II is available now for download through Madora’s website. For release week, volumes I and II are available as a bundle download for 10% off with the discount code BASSIMPROV.
