Ernie Ball Music Man Unveils Winter 2021 Ball Family Reserve Lineup

Ernie Ball Music Man has unveiled the Winter 2021 edition of their Ball Family Reserve instruments, including one bass. The BFR Stingray 5 Special Fretless comes in Fuego, a custom Cherry burst finish, over its ash body. Another significant feature is its flame figured roasted maple neck that includes its fretless fingerboard and matching headstock.
“Equipped with a single humbucking pickup with neodymium magnets and a recently upgraded 3-band EQ, this bass delivers all of the familiar StingRay 5’s punch and growl,” the company writes.
EBMM finishes out the look with gold hardware. The Ball Family Reserve StingRay 5 is limited to 105 pieces worldwide. It’s available for order for $2,999.
