Bass of the Week: Capurso Guitars Spiral Deluxe 5-String

This week we’re taking a look at a recent bass build by Capurso Guitars. This Spiral Deluxe five-string has a classy look with a poplar burl top finished in a transparent green burst complemented by a Birdseye maple fingerboard with abalone inlays.
Capurso loaded the bass with MAMA pickups: a Versa single coil in the neck and a Double Versa in the bridge position. The preamp is the Bassotto from Xander Electronics, featuring a 3-band EQ with active/passive operation and a mid-frequency switch.
