Bass of the Week: Vuorensaku Guitars T.Family Jesper Bass

Vuorensaku Guitars T.Family Jesper Bass

Vuorensaku brought this bass to the Umeå Guitar Show earlier this month, and I’m fairly certain it could be called a showstopper. The T.Family Jesper Bass is a collaboration with artist Jesper Eriksson, who took their four-string and gave it an amazing aesthetic. Vuorensaku also says the bass was a “playground for a couple of new experiments like the Double JazzBar pickup and laminated neck from roasted birch.”

The T.Family Jesper Bass is built with a Finnish alder body and a walnut fretboard. The short-scale bass is fitted with 22 EVO Gold frets. Other features include a Fat “C” neck shape, Hipshot hardware, and a series/parallel switch for the pickup.
