Ulysses Owens Jr. does cool things with songs. Drumeo offered up a new challenge for him: take Nirvana’s “Heart-Shaped Box” and perform it with a jazz ensemble. The group includes Thomas Milovac on bass, Benny Benack III on trumpet, Tyler Bullock II on keys, and Erena Terakubo on alto sax.
This is a cool video showing their process and performance. I love how Milovac kicks things off.
