After Aerosmith’s big farewell tour was canceled, bassist Tom Hamilton opened up about the situation and even mentioned he had been playing with another group. Now, Hamilton has announced his first show with the band.

“Hey, I need to tell you something about a band I’m playing with called Close Enemies,” he wrote on X. “We have a bunch of good songs recorded. We’re going to release one soon. Meanwhile, we’re doing a show in Nashville on October 11 in Nashville at a place called Eastside Bowl. Please come!!”

Two days later he wrote that they rehearsed for three days, nine hours each. “The songs sound amazing!” He added.

Close Enemies is filled out by Hamilton’s bass tech, Trace Foster, on guitar as well as Peter Stroud (Sheryl Crow), Tony Brock (Rod Stewart), Gary Stier, and Chasen Hampton. We’ll keep you updated as they release new music.
