Slayer Launches Digital Museum

Slayer Digital Museum

Legendary thrash metal band Slayer formed in 1981 and, as you can imagine, they picked up lots of stories along the way to the top. Fans can now dig deeper into the group’s history with a new online museum on their website.

Slaytanic Verses is the official location for Slayer’s archives and is packed with “deep dives and rare, behind-the-scenes glimpses into Slayer history.”

“Here, fans will discover real stories and have access to exclusive, authenticated collectibles directly from the band. Photos, gear, artwork, instruments, and first-hand accounts collected over decades will guide you through the band’s journey,” the Slayer website explains. “This is just the beginning. The Slaytanic Verses archive and collectibles store will continue to expand, offering even more from the conquests and chaos of Slayer’s indelible legacy.”

The online exhibit launched with “Live Assaults: 1981 Through Today,” which compiles performance photos, show posters, merch, and more from the band’s entire career. It includes a photo and description of Tom Araya’s ESP Black Satin Bass that he used on the Unholy Alliance Tour in 2008.

Slayer’s online museum Slaytanic Verses can be found on the Slayer website.
