In Memoriam: Jon Camp, Renaissance Bassist and Prog Rock Icon, Passes Away at 75

Former Renaissance bassist Jon Camp has died of undisclosed causes. He was 75 years old.
Camp joined the UK-based prog rock band Renaissance in 1972 and performed on every album from 1972’s Prologue from to 1983’s Time-Line.
Camp was noted for his extended bass solo on the song “Ashes Are Burning.” Check out the epic 23-minute track from their Live at Carnegie Hall album, with his solo beginning around the 7-minute mark:
