Christian McBride has many projects to express his creativity, from bass duos all the way up to a big band. The bass virtuoso is about to embark on a tour with his latest band, Ursa Major.

McBride tapped four rising stars of the jazz world for the group including pianist Michael King, drummer Savannah Harris, saxophonist Nicole Glover, and guitarist Ely Perlman. Together they will be touring the United States from February to April with dates across much of the country.

The first stop is a pair of dates in Los Angeles, after which they will visit Denver, Salt Lake City, and Portland. Several weeks later they will have a leg in the Northeast followed by another West Coast run. The final dates will see the group in Michigan at The Alluvion in Traverse City.
