moe. Announces Summer Tour as “Circle of Giants” Becomes a Tribute to Loss & Resilience

As they wrap up a winter tour, legendary jam band moe. has announced a new summer outing to continue celebrating their 35th anniversary as well as their recently released album, Circle of Giants. A press release from the group explains how the album was a pivotal moment in the band’s history, especially for bassist/vocalist Rob Derhak.
“The record, praised for its resilience and raw emotion, was nearly complete when Derhak suffered an unthinkable personal loss—the passing of his son,” it said. “In the face of adversity, the band channeled their grief into a deeply soulful, vibrant, and powerful collection of songs. Featuring the soaring single ‘Ups and Downs’ and the expansive ‘Living Again,’ Circle of Giants is both a tribute to the past and a beacon of hope for the future.”
“We’ve been through a lot,” Derhak says of the group. “But we always find our way forward—because we have each other.”
The new tour dates will begin June 7th in Jackson, Mississippi and focus on the East Coast before Midwest leg in August. Select dates will feature Umphrey’s McGee with bassist Ryan Stasik and Eggy with bassist Mike Goodman.
