SNL dropped a sketch this weekend that all bassists should appreciate.
Big Ricky and the Minnows hosted a potluck jam session where anyone could join the band on stage. What started as a slow low-end groove quickly turned into a full-on bass invasion, featuring a version of Tom Petty’s “Free Fallin’” and more.
Even a “bass-it” hound made an appearance.
Sure, no one was actually playing the bass. But we’re not here for technical accuracy. We’re here for the low-end love.
