Josh Paul Powers New Supergroup The Masses on Two Explosive Debut Singles

A new supergroup has formed in Nashville, and it ain’t country. The Masses is a trio comprised of current and former members of Suicidal Tendencies, Infectious Grooves, Darkest Hour, and Havok. That includes guitarist Nico Santora, drummer Brandon Bruce, and bassist Josh Paul.
“The project brings together musicians with decades of experience across multiple corners of the heavy music world, combining elements of groove-driven metal, thrash intensity, and modern heavy production. While the members carry notable histories with influential bands, they have also been active contributors to the Nashville music community for more than a decade,” a press release explains.
The band’s fiery grooves are on display on their first two singles: “Drug Lord” and a cover of “Intergalactic” by Beastie Boys. If you’ve spent any time looking up bass clips on social media, you’ve surely seen Paul’s amazing blend of metal, punk, and funk.

“Drug Lord” and “Intergalactic” are streaming now on Apple Music, Spotify, and YouTube. The Masses will be releasing a new single every four weeks, so keep an eye out for more.
