I Built The Sky’s “Fuel To Fly” Blends Precision Prog with a Powerful Low-End Core
I Built The Sky dropped “Fuel To Fly,” and I swear I thought YouTube was set to like 1.25x. Had to actually check it. Nope, they’re just playing that tight. This is a trio, which makes it even crazier.
On bass, Toby Peterson-Stewart is rocking a 5-string Dingwall. The low end is super clean and right on top of everything. He tracks the riffs, then steps in where needed to keep the low end solid. The track feels like it’s moving forward nonstop. Super progressive, super precise, and a whole lot of fun.
It’s one of those tunes where you finish it and immediately run it back, partly because it rips, and partly because your brain is still trying to catch up.
