Alex Lofoco is an Italian eclectic and versatile bassist, educator and author located in London. After graduating in Popular Music Performance at the University of West London, Alex started holding his clinics and masterclasses internationally at music colleges such as the Musicians Institute in L.A., the BIMM and the ICMP in London to name a few.

His progressive fusion debut album Beyond features an A-list team of musicians including drummer Marco Minnemann (Aristocrats), keyboard wizard Jordan Rudess (Dream Theater), Eric Marienthal on sax (Chick Corea Elektric Band), piano prodigy Jesus Molina and guitarist, composer and co-producer Roby Meola. As author, Alex publishes his innovative and critically acclaimed Scale Colour System book series – sold in over 40 countries and translated in multiple languages.
