Scott Devine of Scott’s Bass Lessons shared a video that serves not only as a great trip down memory lane but also an incredibly rich history of bass from the 1980s.

Leonid & Friends, the band formed by bassist Leonid Vorobyev, is back with another fantastic Chicago cover. “Call On Me” originally appeared on the 1974 album, “Chicago VII.” As always, the band nails it.

Nenad Vasilic shared another video with us - and a preview to his new album, “Bass Room,” which drops this month. In this clip, Nenad performs the solo fretless tune, “Rose,” utilizing his Woodguerilla Ria V signature model.

Yesterday, Kevin shared the news of the new Sons of Apollo album, which features a symphony performing songs from their debut album and a set of cover songs. The band just shared one of the cover performances: Pink Floyd’s “Comfortably Numb.”

On August 24th, Oteil & Friends took the stage at the LOCKN’ festival. The band, fronted by Oteil Burbridge, also included Duane Betts, Melvin Seals, Eric Krasno, Neal Casal, Jay Lane, Jen Hartswick, Nat Cressman, Alfreda Gerald, and Lamar Williams Jr.
