Adam Ben Ezra has teamed up with drummer Michael Olivera for a new project. This video of “Cosmic Nomad” is an exciting preview of what’s to come. The duo is working on a new album, which is planned for a release this year.

The G3 tour has officially kicked off, and we’re already starting to see footage. Joe Satriani, Steve Vai, and Eric Johnson are joined by Bryan Beller on the tour. Here they are performing “Crossroads” at the Rialto Theater in Tucson, AZ.

Andy Summers shared a video yesterday titled “Jamming with Tal…” In this clip, they perform The Police’s “Walking On The Moon,” with Tal Wilkenfeld handling the vocals.

Drummer Jojo Mayer continues to release videos from his archives, and this one is excellent. Mayer teamed up with John Davis for this incredible duo improv, complete with some incredible sounds from the bassist.

The folks at Music Universe shared this video featuring Jaco Pastorius. This clip was recorded during a 1986 performance in Salzburg, Austria. Jaco solos over the classic Miles Davis tune, “So What,” backed by drummer Michael Kersting.

Hadrien Feraud has released another video from his “Bass of Doom Sessions,” where he plays Jaco Pastorius’s legendary bass. "These Were the Days" was co-written by Feraud and vocalist Ericka Guitron.
