We recently lost jazz great Ramsey Lewis. Ramsey has always been one of my favorite players. In this clip, the trio performs an excellent rendition of the Seals & Crofts classic, “Summer Breeze,” with Cleveland Eaton holding down the bottom.
In Memoriam: Cleveland Eaton
Cleveland Eaton, who played with jazz greats from Ella Fitzgerald to Count Basie, has passed away after a months-long illness. He was 80 years old.
