Jon Button’s bass became his passport, navigating through gigs that spanned commercial scores, movie soundtracks, and tours with music royalty such as Sheryl Crow, Shakira, and, ultimately, The Who. He’s our guest for this month’s episode of Groove - the No Treble Podcast.

The Who has revealed a new North American tour called “The Who Hits Back!” that will run this spring. Roger Daltrey and Pete Townshend will continue to be joined by bassist Jon Button, who fills the big shoes of the late John Entwistle.

Scary Pockets was joined by vocalist Monica Martin for this cover of Radiohead’s “Karma Police.” And while the vocals are fantastic, we were pretty focused on the 1958 P Bass Jon Button is playing on the track.

The Who have announced they’re working on a new album, which will be their first in 13 years, and they’re going on tour to support it. Bassist Jon Button, who has worked with The Who for the past few years, will once again join the band.
