Snarky Puppy’s “Empire Central” is one of my favorite albums. So I love it when the band drops new videos from the Deep Ellum Art Company recording session in Dallas, Texas. Here’s one they shared yesterday for “Mean Green.” Funky!

Snarky Puppy has announced a new leg of their “Empire Central” tour that will take the crossover band across North America this fall. Beginning on September 8th, the trek will be a victory lap for their GRAMMY award-winning record, “Empire Central.”

I’ve been wearing out Snarky Puppy’s “Empire Central,” which is often on the turntable. The band just dropped another video from the session, with the laid back tune, “Cliroy,” which was written by trumpeter Jay Jennings.

Snarky Puppy’s “Empire Central” has been on my turntable a lot lately, and it is one of my favorite records of 2022. They’ve just dropped another video from the recording session. “Pineapple” was co-written by Mike “Maz” Maher and Michael League.

Since Snarky Puppy dropped “Empire Central,” I’ve been listening to it a lot (and anxiously awaiting the vinyl to arrive). They just released another video for the session, with Michael League and the band getting down on the tune, “RL’s.”

The wait is almost over. Snarky Puppy’s “Empire Central” is coming at the end of the month, and the band has just shared a new video from the session. “Belmont” was written by bassist/bandleader Michael League.

Jeff Coffin has released a new solo album called “Between Dreaming and Joy,” but it’s far from a solo effort. The saxophonist, who many know from his work with Dave Matthews Band, has an absolutely stacked lineup to fill out the music.

In 2014, the world lost a musical giant with the passing of Jack Bruce. Jeff Berlin began working on a tribute album shortly after his passing, and now that album is available as “Jack Songs,” with an unreal cast of musicians.

When Snarky Puppy released the first video from their upcoming album, “Empire Central,” a couple of weeks ago, I was pumped. Now they’ve given us another taste of what’s to come with another amazing performance from the record.
