Wayne Shorter’s performance at the 1996 Montreux Jazz Festival is now available on DVD. Stanley Clarke Joins Heads Up
Legendary bassist Stanley Clarke has joined Heads Up International to pursue various audio and video opportunities. Clarke joins a roster including Mike Stern, the Jaco Pastorius Word of Mouth Big Band, Walter Beasley and the Yellowjackets. Cleveland-based Heads Up, which is a division of Telarc, plans to produce and release Clarke’s albums and videos over the next few years.
