Bass icon Verdine White of Earth, Wind & Fire has paid tribute to his late brother and bandmate Maurice with a new solo song. “Superman,” released on Maurice’s 83rd birthday, marks Verdine’s first time singing solo.

Verdine White and Earth, Wind, & Fire are keeping plenty busy this year. They’ll be back on the road again with Lionel Richie for the second round of the “Sing A Song All Night Long” tour.

Two of the most influential bands of the ’70s are teaming up once again for a co-headlining tour next summer. Chicago and Earth, Wind, & Fire have announced the Heart & Soul 2024 Tour that will take the groups from coast to coast across North America.
