Last fall, Ampeg launched its newest line of amps and cabs with the Venture Series. Now, they’ve unveiled the largest cabinet of the group with the VB-88. The cab is rated at 800 watts RMS while only weighing 67 pounds.

Ashdown has revamped the OriginAL-EVO-C112T, which packs their new OriginAL EVO bass head into a 1×12" kickback combo. The amp pumps out 300 watts while weighing just 29 pounds.

Bergantino has once again expanded their NXT bass cab lineup with the NXT410-C, a 4×10 cab they designed with touring bassists in mind.

Ashdown introduced several new products at NAMM 2024, including the Rootmaster EVO III range of bass amps. The latest update to the Rootmaster series adds rackmount options to the head units, which come in 500 or 800 watts.

Darkglass Electronics has expanded their lineup of bass amps with four new combos this year including two analog models and two digital models. Each amp type has two configurations – 2×10? and 1×12? – while all four models are rated at 500 watts.

EBS announced the ClassicLine 212 Mini-tower bass cabinet at the 2024 NAMM Show. The new cab is fitted with two 12-inch drivers in a compact enclosure. It is rated at 500 watts and is described as a perfect complement to the EBS Classic 500 head.

HeadRush has unveiled two new full-range flat-response cabinets with the FRFR MKII 108 and 112 powered speaker cabinets. The cabs, which work for guitar or bass, are rated at 2,000 and 2,500 watts, respectively.

Phil Jones Bass has announced a new bass combo amp dubbed the Bass Engine, aka the BE-17. Fitted with a custom proprietary 7-inch speaker, the new model features a linear analog preamp matched to a class D amplifier that dishes out 70 watts.

Bergantino has launched a new series of bass cabs called the NXT SE. The special edition of their NXT lineup updates the look of the cabs while updating the drivers.

Jad Freer Audio has announced the Volta, a new all-tube bass head that the company calls the pinnacle of its sound and philosophy. The amp was developed at the behest of endorsing artist and Gov’t Mule bassist Kevin Scott.

Aguilar Amplification has a tradition of releasing limited edition colors each year, and they’ve just unveiled their latest creation. Rather than a single product, though, they’ve added several color options to much of their lineup.
