We’ve been watching Áron Hodek for a few years, and it has been an exciting journey. The 11-year-old bassist just shared a video of him sitting in with Ghost-Note. It is a great clip to learn more about him and see him lay it down with the group.

We’ve been waiting all week for the premiere of this Ghost-Note video, from their Live Acoustic Sugarshack Session. In this one, they perform their original tune, “Weedie B. Good”, and as usual, MonoNeon lays down the groove. Funky, as always!

Here’s a recent video from Zildjian LIVE! series’ second season, which features drummer Marcus Gilmore performing with Ghost-Note. “Southern Spirits” is a tune written by Robert Sput Searight and features the always awesome MonoNeon on bass.

I really dig the Zildjian LIVE! series. I also really dig Ghost-Note. In this clip, drummer Sarah Thawer takes the spotlight on the tune, “Inner Turmoil,” and MonoNeon once again lays it down with some impressive lines. This one has it all!

I’m really digging the Zildjian LIVE! series. Cody Wright shared this video on Facebook yesterday, which features him as a special guest along with Ghost-Note. To make things even cooler, Dywane “MonoNeon” Thomas Jr. is also on bass.

Zildjian Live! shared this video last summer, and while it is mostly focused on drummer Omar Hakim, it also includes an incredible collaboration with Ghost-Note. The band, anchored by the bass work of MonoNeon, performs Hakim’s “Convergence.”

MonoNeon shared this epic clip on Facebook, with a performance he did with drummer Larnell Lewis and Ghost-Note for Zildjian LIVE! “Change Your Mind” is a funky tune, and MonoNeon causes the sax player to have bass face in this one!

Drummer Robert “Sput” Searight and percussionist Nate Werth are already in a killer band (Snarky Puppy). Seems like that isn’t enough for them, so they created another – Ghost-Note.
