La Bella Introduces Olinto 5-String Bass

La Bella Olinto 5-string Bass

La Bella Strings has expanded their line of Olinto bass guitars with a five-string version. The Olinto 5-String is carved by hand in Brooklyn by master luthier Mas Hino with a variety of options for body woods.

“With the options of Alder, Swamp Ash, Northern Ash, Mahogany, Makore, Black Limba, and Roasted Wood for body options, you get to custom create your own vintage instrument,” La Bella writes. “Tack on a vintage nitro paint finish and you are good to go.”

The Olinto 5-string also has several choices for your fretboard: Rosewood, Maple, Birdseye, Chechen, and roasted wood. Hino also fits each Olinto with a custom P-Bass pickup, a vintage 5-string Hipshot bridge, and custom La Bella “Lollipop” reverse tuners.
