Three years after releasing “The Blue Road,” bassist and composer Juan García-Herreros (a.k.a., Snow Owl) is gearing up to release the followup: The Red Road. Snow Owl has just released the first single from “The Red Road,” called “The Horde.”

Snarky Puppy returns with the second single from their upcoming new album, “Immigrance,” which drops worldwide on March 15th. This track is “Bad Kids To The Back,” and it is an extra funky one by Michael League and the band.

Zander Zon makes his long-awaited return with another fantastic bass arrangement. Check out this incredible bass arrangement of Queen’s “Bohemian Rhapsody.”

Nacho Calavia sent us this incredible video of former Incognito bassist Julian Crampton playing through the bass masterpiece “Jacob’s Ladder.”

It’s a rainy, lazy Sunday morning here. While browsing the Facebook feed, I came across a post by Or Lubianiker, who shared a video he recorded with Eyal Amir. It was the perfect soundtrack for today.

Late last year we shared a video of John Entwistle on Rick Wakeman’s show GasTank performing the song, “Go America.” This time we’re featuring The Ox playing and singing the classic “Twist and Shout.”

In 2013, Richard Bona performed at the RTL Jazz Festival. Here’s an amazing clip of him taking on the Jaco Pastorius tune, “Three Views of a Secret.” It doesn’t get any better than this.

It is always great to see a new video by Miki Santamaria. Check out his performance with guitarist/vocalist Toni Beiro of Beiro’s tune “Crónicas Desde La Ingravidez”

During the 2019 Winter NAMM show, Victor Wooten and John Ferrara got together at the Hartke booth to jam, and it was fantastic.

The guys at Funky Lemonade sent us this video. Not only did we love it, we also dig their name. Check out their tune, “LunuL.”

We’re super excited there’s a new House of Waters album out. “When I Play” is the third track on “Rising,” and it features a beautiful solo by Moto Fukushima.

The Markbass booth was a hot spot for great bass performances at the 2019 NAMM Show. In this clip, Marcus Miller, Richard Bona and Hadrien Feraud take the stage to jam and trade solos.
