Forq is back with another terrific video with music from their 2017 album, Thr?q. “Stannic” was written by keyboardist Henry Hey, and features Michael League on bass.

I spotted this new video on Facebook last night, and I lost count of how many times I watched it. Here’s Tom C Walker’s band performing Tom’s tune, “Change In You” live. Deano Bass is laying down on rock-solid groove!

I’m looking forward to seeing The Marcus King Band later this summer as part of Tedeschi Trucks Band’s Wheels of Soul Tour 2018. Here’s a great live performance of the band performing last year at the Reevestock Music Festival. The tune is “So Cold”, which features Stephen Campbell once again holding down a sweet groove on his P-bass.

Time for another great video by Brady Watt and the Lifetronics. In this live performance at The Breeding Ground NYC, the band performs their composition, “Coy.”

We’ve featured the duo of Wojtek Pilichowski and Adrian Maruszczyk before, and we’re always impressed with these guys. Here they are performing Wojtek’s groovy composition, “Nowe Buty”.

We first featured Mr. DanZ five years ago, with their great cover of “Proto Cosmos.” Here’s the band, featuring bassist Ben Shepherd, performing “Butterfly” by Herbie Hancock and Bennie Maupin. Ben adds something special to the tune with the use of a vocoder.

Lake Street Dive is back with another live performance of a tune from their new album, Free Yourself Up. Here’s “Baby Don’t Leave Me Alone With My Thoughts”, once again featuring the great bass lines by Bridget Kearney.

YYNOT performed another concert in Melbourne, Florida last week. Here’s an excellent clip of them digging deep into Rush’s catalog. From 1975’s Caress Of Steel’s “Fountain Of Lamneth,” here’s their performance of “No One at the Bridge.” As always, Tim Starace nails the bass lines, and vocalist Rocky Kuner is absolutely amazing.

Here’s a killer clip of the Cameron Graves Trio featuring drummer Mike Mitchell and bassist Max Gerl throwing down on “Satania Our Solar System”. Recorded at the TivoliVredenburg in the Netherlands, the trio stretches the groove into outer space. Gerl dishes out some mean bass work to back up Graves before taking an extended and ear-bending solo himself.
