Siân Pottok recently released this live studio video performance of an incredibly beautiful cover of The Beatles’ “Blackbird.” Hadrien Feraud arranged the tune for the group.

Jaco Pastorius’s “Three Views of a Secret” is one of my all-time favorite compositions. In this video, guitarist Don Ross is joined by Michael Manring and The Atlantic String Machine to perform their own beautiful version.

Lenny Kravitz pays tribute to Harry Belafonte in this video he created following the news of Belafonte’s passing. Kravitz handles most of the instruments, including bass, on “How Long Have You Been Blind.”

Leonid Vorobyev and his friends are back, and this time they’re nailing a cover of Lighthouse’s “One Fine Morning.”

Jaz Moss sent us his latest video, which is an incredibly well-done, detailed look at the work of James Jamerson. Jaz said it took three months of research to produce this retrospective on the Motown legend.

It’s been a while since we’ve heard from our friend, Pete O’Neill, but he’s back with a new video he shared with us. This bass arrangement of “Walk Above the City” by the Paper Kites and MARO is beautiful.

Scary Pockets, with the help of guest vocalist Joanna Jones and guest guitarist Joe Bonamassa, took AC/DC’s “Back in Black” and made it funky. Calvin Turner handles the low end.

Charles Berthoud teamed up with Bernth, and the results are incredible. Here they are performing “Bloodstream.”

Marcus Miller took the stage at Yoshi’s with drummer Billy Kilson. Playing the tune “Untamed,’ Marcus switches to fretless – then back to fretted – and gives us an incredibly dynamic performance.

The Main Squeeze dropped the 7th video featuring music from their new live album, To Be Determined, recorded at The Squeeze House. This time, the band is joined by Pulp Friction, and as always, the smooth bass work of Rob Walker.
