It’s always an exciting day when a new Evan Marien x Dana Hawkins video drops. This one offers up some awesome music and some hilarious moments. “Current” is a new tune from their upcoming album. The tune was written by Marien and features a synth solo by J3PO.

Consider the Source has returned with their first new single in years. “Mouthbreather” is a monstrous headbanger that marks the first release from an exciting upcoming album.

Ernie Ball has introduced a new artist session video series called “Big Sound” that features up-close studio sessions. They launched it with a three-song set by Texas-based instrumental masters Polyphia captured during rehearsals for their summer tour.

Primus was joined by Puddles Pity Party in Big Flats, NY, earlier this month. Youtuber metal4head20 captured this video of the band performing Dio’s “Holy Diver.”

This video recently hit my radar, and this is my kind of music. "Sinchronicity" was written by guitarist Evgeny Pobozhiy, who performs the tune with Tomasz Bura on keyboards, Anton Davidyants on bass, and Nathaniel Townsley on drums.

Art of Trio is a guitar power trio that also features guitarist Luca Mantovanelli and drummer Elio Rivagli. Their first video for the song “Bluex” grooves hard thanks to the pocket between Feliciati Feliciati and Rivagli while Mantovanelli shreds on top.

Rush’s “The Camera Eye” is not only one of my favorite tunes on Moving Pictures, it’s up there for me with their entire catalog. YYNOT performed it in July during their stop in Kansas City.

Zander Zon is back with another collab video. In this one, he teams up with Tommy Lee Depp for a two-bass performance of Zon’s tune, “Heartbeat Lyrics,” which was on his “Saturn Return” album.

We’re forever grateful to the folks at the North Sea Jazz Archive for dropping so much content from their archives. Here’s one they recently shared, with Marcus Miller and his band performing at the festival in 2013.
