Gear Watch: Tech 21 VT Bass 300 Amp
Tech 21 has unveiled their new VT Bass 300 amp, based on their SansAmp Character Series VT Bass pedal.

The box, which is rated at 300 analog watts, features two channels that can be dialed in from clean to completely overdriven. You can choose between the two or combine them using the included footswitch. The footswitch also allows for silent tuning via the Mute switch, and accepts power from the amp.
The SansAmp XLR Output on the back functions as the D.I., and has a switchable pad, between –20dB and 0dB. A Gain switch next to the input provides a 10dB boost to set up the pre-amp for different pickups, depending on your bass’s output.
The Tech 21 VT Bass 300 will be released early next year. For more details, visit the Tech 21 NYC website.
