Tech 21 and Geddy Lee Team Up on Amalgamation Signature Chorus for Bass

Tech 21 is at the Winter NAMM Show this year with several new bass goodies, including a new collaboration with Rush bassist Geddy Lee. The Amalgamation Signature Chorus is tailored specifically to bass with Lee’s input. It sets itself apart from the pack with an “unusual amount of flexibility,” the company explains.
“With its Detune control, you can adjust the pitch of the choral voicing, adding sonic girth to create thick, lush, bass-compatible chorus,” they write. “Engaging Deviate mode alters the Detune function and adds an additional voicing for even more depth – as if 3 people are playing at the same time.”
Speed and Depth knobs round out the control set for adjusting the modulation.
The Tech 21 Geddy Lee Amalgamation Signature Chorus is estimated to ship this spring with a street price of $199.
