Chickenfoot Announces “Different Devil” North American Tour

Chickenfoot (2012 Tour Lineup)

Since the release of their second studio album ironically entitled III, Chickenfoot has only given a handful of performances in the U.S. and Europe. That’s about to change as the group has announced the “Different Devil Tour”, with 20 dates spanning the U.S. and a single date in Canada.

Originally formed in 2008, the band consists of former Van Halen alums Michael Anthony and Sammy Hagar, as well as guitar virtuoso Joe Satriani and Red Hot Chili Peppers drummer Chad Smith. Kenny Aronoff will fill Smith’s seat, as the Peppers have a tour of their own.

Black Stone Cherry will be providing support for the tour.

Tickets go on sale to the public on March 2nd, with three different VIP packages available. The special ticket packages include goodies ranging from reserved seats and tour posters to a “Meet & Greet” with the band. For more details, check out the Chickenfoot website.
