Will Cady: A Modern Day “Portrait of Tracy” Bass Cover
Bassist Will Cady took the Jaco Pastorius tune, “Portrait of Tracy”, and put a modern spin on it thanks in part to the use of the Hot Hand and some wah.

Couldn’t stand listening to more than a few seconds.
I’m not into that dubstep thing but… as jaco used some tricky effects, I found this cover really closed to Jaco’s spirit, really suits this tune!
Great interpretation of the song, but I’m not too crazy about your tone on this. I presume it is the fault of the Hot Hands. Almost makes it sound like you recorded it under water.
Not good….
Not interesting..just lazily sleepy.
Overuse of effect. It’s a cool effect, and a cool piece of tech, but overused.
Ok I think, got tired of the effect though…
don’t like it at all, don’t get me wrong, I love the hot hands and I love jaco but the two together, especialy with this song, not a good mix.
