Evan Brewer Leaves The Faceless

Things have really shaken up for technical death metal outfit The Faceless with the departure of bassist Evan Brewer and drummer Alex Rudinger. After nearly four years with the band, Brewer took to social media to announce that he was leaving.
“After almost four years of good times with The Faceless I’ve decided to leave the band,” Brewer wrote on Facebook. “I just feel that it’s time for me to make this move because I want to make new music, do more teaching, and to also have availability for any musical opportunities that may arise. The Faceless is a full time band and they need members who can commit to that schedule. I would like to thank the fans of the band for embracing me and encourage them to continue their support of The Faceless.”
Drummer Rudinger followed up with his own announcement, saying he was leaving to pursue other projects and opportunities.
The news comes just a week before The Faceless are slated to perform at KnotFest in San Bernadino, California. There’s been no word as to any replacements for Brewer and Rudinger.
