That’s bizarre, but intriguing!
That would certainly eliminate the need to carry an extra bass to gigs.
What a amazing instrument, right when I thought I’ve seen it all I aint seen nothing yet.
Tha amazing Leo Lyons….The Bass guitar is a bit odd,but Leo’s work with Ten Years After is really something special.BASS ON,Leo!
It goes to 11.
Wondering how you would handle the interference of the second set of strings with your thumb? Would it slow you down, mess with your intonation…. ??? Do you slot between the other strings to get a purchase for your thumb? Or ride on them… confused…
also the truss rod adjustment, it would be really weird
Cool idea but look how thick the neck looks like a 2×4. Plus while playing the fret less side you would be shredding the hell out of you hand on the fretted back side back
