Zander Zon: Terminator 2 Theme
Zander Zon has a new bass arrangement from a movie soundtrack. This time around, he tackles the theme from Terminator 2: Judgment Day.
“I remember when I was 10 years old – I was so excited to see this movie. I loved it, but certain parts TERRIFIED me. The beginning scene with the skulls and then Sarah Connor’s dream…” Zander shared. “The main title, written by Brad Fiedel, has such a recognizable drum beat; so I replicated the percussion on my bass and then played the melody and harmony over the loop. The tuning I used was C, F, Eb, Bb, which is simply standard fourths, but tuned into the upper tenor bass range.”
