Martyn Casey to Sit Out Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds Tour
Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds are gearing up for a European tour, but unfortunately, bassist Martyn Casey will not be on hand. The band made a statement on the situation while naming his stand-in.
“Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds are sad to announce that due to illness Martyn Casey will not be joining the forthcoming UK and European tour,” they wrote. “Colin Greenwood will stand in on bass for these shows. The band send Martyn their love and best wishes.”
Greenwood, who is best known as the bassist for Radiohead, recently joined Cave for his solo tour last year and also appears on the group’s brand new album, Wild God.
