Baum Guitars’ Thunder Bass Returns in a Special 10th Anniversary Edition

Seye Adelekan with Baum Guitars 10th Anniversary Thunder Bass

Three years ago, Baum Guitars unveiled the Seye Adelekan Signature Pink Thunder Bass. This year marks the company’s tenth anniversary and they’re taking the opportunity to announce a revamped version as a publicly available model.

As part of their 10th Anniversary Collection, the new limited edition Thunder Bass comes in a Dark Moon Finish. It is crafted with a mahogany body, roasted maple neck, and a rosewood fretboard inlaid with a signature Thunder emblem and a Baum mini-crowns. The pickups are a pair of Powerjab single coils.

“The Thunder Bass is everything I ever wanted in an instrument—powerful, elegant, and full of character,” said Adelekan. “It’s designed to be striking, yet the layout and features are kept quite simple to put more emphasis on the musician to put his or her touch to the output. It’s perfect for musicians who want to express themselves fully, whether on stage or in the studio.”

Baum states that the limited 2025 collection will be crafted in small batches throughout the year and will only be possible to preorder in 2025. Each anniversary model will include a limited edition Baum hardcase, an anniversary certificate and case candy. The Baum Guitars 10th Anniversary Thunder Bass is available for order at $2,199.
