Ghost-Note Extends Tour Into Summer: Funk-Fusion Collective to Hit Northeast Festivals

Ghost-Note is extending its tour into the summer with a new leg of dates that will cover the Northeast US into Canada. The funk collective, led by Snarky Puppy members Robert “Sput” Searight and Nate Werth, has tacked on 13 new shows, including appearances at the Ottawa, Toronto, and Montreal jazz festivals.
The summer run begins June 21st at Stephen Talkhouse in Amagansett, New York. It will snake up north over the border before coming back down through New England and winding up in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, on July 6th.
The band is continuing to support their latest album, Mustard n’Onions, which features frequent member MonoNeon. Ghost-Note’s current touring bassist is Justin McKinney, aka Jay McK, who has toured the world with artists like Shaun Martin, Chris Dave, Ruben Studdard, Bobby Sparks, and more.
Check out Ghost-Note with Jay McK live at KNKX from late last year performing “JB’s Out! (Do It Babay)”, “Slim Goodie”, and “Bad Knees”.
