Fender Releases Free Recording App Featuring Rumble Bass Amp and Effects

Fender has introduced a new recording app for macOS, Windows, and Linux as well as iOS and Android mobile devices. Fender Studio is a recording app that comes loaded with official Fender amps and effects, including options for electric guitars, basses, vocals, and more. Best yet, it’s free to download.

Fender Studio is streamlined for ease of use with one-tap recording. It comes loaded with a ’65 Twin Reverb guitar amp model and a Rumble 800 v.3 bass amp model. It has five built-in effects: the Sine Chorus, the Modern Bass OD, the Mono Delay, the Small Hall Reverb, and an Overdrive. Ten presets help you get started quickly. Eight more tracks, six additioanl amps, and six more effects become available when you register with your Fender Connect Account.

Fender Studio is used with any compatible interface. “Just connect your device to the USB-C port and plug your guitar or bass into the 1/4” jack to start jamming,” Fender writes.

Fender Studio is available for download now from the App Store, Google Play, Microsoft, and Linux.
