Kemper Revamps Profiler Line with MK 2 Series: More Effects, Faster Workflow, Bigger Loops

Kemper Profiler MK 2

Kemper has revamped their line of modeling units with the Kemper Profiler MK 2 series, which includes new versions of their Profiler Head, Rack, Stage, Player, and more. The upgraded technology allows for more powerful effects, architecture, and enhanced performance.

“At the heart of the PROFILER MK 2 Series works an upgraded processing engine, unlocking faster performance, with boot times clocking in around 20 seconds, and a host of new features that expand the boundaries of what a modern guitar or bass rig can do,” the company explains.

The extra horsepower lets users use a total of 20 blocks in series with zero added signal latency. This is seven additional effect blocks on top of the MK 1 series. Other features include 8-channel USB audio support and an upgraded looper that boasts up to two full minutes of recording time.

The Kemper Profiler MK 2 series includes the Profiler Head, Profiler Rack, Profiler Stage, Profiler Player, Profiler PowerHead, Profiler PowerRack, and Profiler Remote. They are available now with prices ranging from $469 to $1,798.
