He has the six string Ibanez with him, but he is not trying to light anything on fire. He is just cruising. The lines feel smooth and unhurried, like he is smiling the whole time while he plays.

This whole performance is pure RnB from start to finish. Very smooth. Erykah is sounding beautiful and completely locked in, and the band settles into a heavy smooth vibe that just rolls along. Thundercat fits right into that space, letting the song carry him while he adds little touches that keep everything warm and alive.
