Ibanez has two new singlecut BTBs this year with the BTB865SC and BTB866SC. The neck-through basses are five and six-string models, respectively, and have a new wood combination.

Ibanez has revealed three new SR1350B models to its SR Premium line for 2023. The four, five, and six-string versions of the bass now sport a new top and finish for a refreshed look.

Ibanez has added a new model to their headless EHB basses with the EHB1005F, a five-string that marks the first fretless bass of the series.

Ibanez’s Bass Workshop series is an avenue for the company to try out different design aspects. This year they’re adding to the lineup with the SRC6MS Multi-Scale Crossover Bass.

Ibanez got into the electric upright bass game in 2018 with the Upswing. Now they’ve added to the series with a five-string model called the UB805.

Ibanez has revamped Killswitch Engage bassist Mike D’Antonio’s signature bass for 2022 with the MDB5-OXB. The fifth version of his four-string now comes in an Ox Blood finish.

Ibanez will be exhibiting at the 2022 NAMM Show in Anaheim, California next week, and they’ve unveiled some of the new instruments they’ll be bringing along. That includes a new acoustic bass guitar model named the AEGB24E.

Hoshino U.S.A., the U.S.-based distributor of Ibanez Guitars, is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year with the creation of limited collection of “extremely special, hand-crafted, custom instruments.”

Ibanez has a lot cooking for this year, including three new SR Premium models. The limited-edition instruments help to mark the 35th anniversary of their flagship SR design.

Ibanez is introducing several new iterations of their bass models this year including three new multi-scale versions of the BTB. The BTB805MS, BTB806MS, and BTB605MS all have an extended 37-inch scale on the B-string.

Ibanez has brought back the Iron Label series of instruments including three new guitars and two basses. The metal-inspired instruments come with a stripped-down feature set in all-black finishes.

Ibanez has unveiled their annual limited edition run of SR Premium basses, which they describe as “built to be noticed.” The four-string SR4CMLTD and five-string SR5CMLTD are built with multi-piece bodies of alternating ash and figured maple.
