Nick Fyffe Grooves in Newly Released 2001 Jamiroquai “Love Foolosophy” on Later with Jools Holland

Jamiroquai just shared a fresh drop from the vault and it is a good one. We get a newly released look at their 2001 performance of “Love Foolosophy” on Later with Jools Holland and it is peak early Jamiroquai energy. Super funky. Super smooth. The kind of thing that just makes you feel good the second the groove hits.

Nick Fyffe is holding it down. His lines are clean and they sit so perfectly in the pocket that you almost forget how tricky some of that stuff really is. The tone is warm and full and it ties everything together. It is classic Jamiroquai bass work, just pure groove that makes the whole band fly.

The rest of the group sounds great too. A full line of backup singers lifts the chorus and the string section adds this extra layer of sparkle that makes the whole thing feel bigger than the room. The mix gives everyone space and it still feels like you are standing right there in front of the stage. It is the kind of performance that reminds you why this era of the band still hits so hard for bass players.
