Mark Peric Pushes the Groove Forward with the Fusion-Charged “Easy Tiger”
Here is a killer live cut from Mark Peric and his crew. “Easy Tiger” leans hard into that aggressive jazzy funky fusion vibe. It has that Snarky Puppy kind of energy with Mark’s thick and deep low end driving the whole thing.
Mark is on his custom Conway Guitars MP5 running through a Warwick LWA100 into a pair of Markbass cabs, a four by ten and a two by ten. The bass tone is huge. Super fat, super clear, and sitting right where it should in a great mix.
The band sounds fantastic. Drummer Darran Muller is completely locked in. The horns bring a ton of color with Dave Cox on sax and Evan Osborne on trumpet giving the tune an extra spark. Carrick Sugden on guitar and Dan Khoury on keys round everything out and the whole group pushes forward as one.
Tight playing, big sound, and no wasted motion anywhere.
