Audiofab Unveils Frequency Distiller Special Blend: A Dual-Channel Bass Filter With Stereo Mode

Audiofab Frequency Distiller Special Blend

Last year, Audiofab introduced the Frequency Distiller, a dual-channel filter pedal inspired by the Alembic Superfilter SF-2. The bass-centric pedal has now been revamped with a “Special Blend” model that incorporates an enhanced filter design and a stereo input mode.

“Each of the pedal’s two independent channels includes a switchable high-pass, low-pass, band-pass, or notch filter, a filter gain control, a sweepable frequency range, and a resonance control—perfect for sculpting everything from subtle tone shaping to dramatic, synth-like filtering,” Audiofab shared in a press release. “The channel mode switch allows players to engage either filter (A or B) or both filters in parallel (A+B mode). In all modes, a clean blend control adjusts the level of unprocessed signal mixed with the filtered output.”

Other features include True Bypass switching, a Hammond 1590BB aluminum enclosure, and knobs that go to 11.

The Audiofab Frequency Distiller Special Blend is available direct for $549 CAD (approximately $405 USD).
